The courage you show in considering adoption and choosing a bright future for your child is something we deeply appreciate.

Hi! We are Nate and Kiarra Hillman. Nate is 36, and I am 30. We have been
married for 8 years.
Nate comes from a family of 6 kids, he is number 4. His parents have been
married for 44 years. Between his siblings, their spouses, and kids there are 31
of us now. It is a very tight knit family, we see each other all the time and go on
family vacations frequently together. Being together is our favorite and we do it
as much as we can. Nate grew up on a cattle ranch while his parents were
teachers as well. He was taught the importance of hard work, education, and
family from a young age.
Nate is now a construction loan officer for ICCU and loves his job. But especially
loves the freedom that comes with it. Because of his position and the work he

teachers as well. He was taught the importance of hard work, education, and
family from a young age.
Nate is now a construction loan officer for ICCU and loves his job. But especially
loves the freedom that comes with it. Because of his position and the work he
puts in he now is able to control his time. He works from home most days and
because of that he is able to attend any family events we have. Which has
always been important to him because he wanted a job that would allow him
not only to provide for his family but allow him to be able to attend and be
there for our future kids in whatever capacity that was.
I(Kiarra) come from a large extended family. In my immediate family it is me and my brother. My parents have been married for 34 years. My dad actually was
adopted himself, which is what has always lead my heart towards adoption.
After struggling with infertility, Nate and I knew adoption was the right path for
us. I am grateful as we go through this journey towards adoption that whatever
child we are blessed with will always have my dad as someone they can turn to
and lean on as someone who understands and can relate what it feels like to be
adopted, making them feel heard in their own journey and not alone.
I was also raised on the importance of family. My brother and I actually built our
homes right next door to each other. Which has allowed me and Nate to get to
enjoy his kids on a regular basis. We both love being an aunt and uncle and love
all of them more than life. They truly have been the greatest blessing in our
lives as we struggled to start a family of our own.
I have my degree in graphic design and a job in marketing that also allows me to fully work from home and control my time. Which was always my number one
priority because I want to be able to stay home and raise our babies.
Nate & I have wanted to be parents our entire life and love that through
adoption this is now possible for us. We want you to know as the birth mother,
we may not know you but we admire and respect you deeply. The courage you
show in considering adoption and choosing a bright future for your child is
something we deeply appreciate. Without you we would possibly never fulfill our
dreams of being parents. We will love this child more than life and be eternally
grateful for the gift you gave us that is completely not repayable.
I hope you consider us as you make this decision❤️

Emily Wilson (Nate’s sister )

Nate and Kiarra are two of my favorite people in the entire world! They are kind, fun, hardworking, generous, supportive, and love their people like nothing else. When Nate was going to college, he lived with me and my family. My husband was gone for months at a time working and Nate was a huge help and support to me and my 3 kids at the time. My kids loved having their fun uncle around. During this time he met and started dating Kiarra. Kiarra immediately bonded with my kids. She played with them, took them to do all sorts of fun activities, and was always willing to help with them in whatever way she could. To say they have adored her since the day they met her is an understatement. When my son started talking he had a hard time saying Kiarra’s name so he started calling her LaLa. It stuck and now that’s the nickname my kids, and all our nieces and nephews affectionately call her. I now have 2 more kids and they both adore their Uncle Nate, Aunt LaLa, and Cubby. They continue to love and support my kids in everything they do. We no longer live in the same town, but they always make an effort to spend time with my kids. They have invited my older kids, now teens, to come stay with them and are constantly checking in on my family. They always remember and are aware of all the things going on in all of our lives. Nate and Kiarra will be AMAZING parents! The baby they are blessed with will have a huge support system. We are a large and very close knit family. We love each other, support each other, and always have a great time together. I can’t express enough how ready Nate and Kiarra are to have a baby of their own. They’ve been planning, preparing and praying for this for years. I cannot wait to meet my niece or nephew that will take Uncle Nate and Aunt LaLa, to Dad and Mom.

I have known Nate for many years, and have known his family for just as long. They are great people, and have great core values as a family. Kiarra has been a wonderful companion to Nate, and has helped him make a home. Together, they are a solid couple, and would make a wonderful, warm, happy family with the addition of a child. There is no doubt in my mind that they would stand up to the challenges of parenthood and would do their best to raise a well rounded child.
