Placed in foster care after birth, and then shortly thereafter adopted, Skye Brennan has been searching for birth parents. She has been searching for years. The adoption was completely closed. Through all her searches, Skye has not been able to track down any identifying information.
Finally, Skye posted a photo on Facebook hoping that through the thousands of shares she would finally learn who she is.
It is hoped that with mutual consideration and respect, birth parents and adoptees will be able to get requested information to and from each other regardless of the type of adoption. Whether it is decided to have any kind of relationship or not, information exchange is a sign of respect for each other.
