Wednesday’s Child: Where Are They Now?

Have you seen this?

Nicole Kuiken November 08, 2014

Many have seen a Wednesday’s Child featured on a local news channel. These children are usually hoping to be adopted. In the videos, you are introduced to the child and learn about their interests and what they want to be when they grow up as the news anchor visits with a spends time with the child.  Sometimes they feature siblings or more than one child. Sometimes the question comes to mind, are these features successful? Do these children find their forever families?

This video shows the story of a couple who saw three children on a Wednesday’s Child feature and knew that they were their children. Visiting the family, we hear their story and how they love and care for each other. The parents express that it is not easy, but they would not have made a different decision. Both the children and the parents appreciate each other and the dedication they have to spend their time together, knowing that they are loved.
