Christy, a loving foster mother, shares why she chose to exchange her single, busy New York City life for a family life which includes foster children. She talks about the change from being an independent career woman to becoming a mother to two foster children overnight. Christy tells us that foster care is something that one cannot really adequately explain. The experience has changed her and helped her to reach a dream she didn’t know that she had. Being a stay-at-home mom is something that didn’t fit into her life earlier. But now, the fulfillment she receives from caring for foster children is incredible.
