Little Alec was adopted from Ukraine where he tested positive for HIV. This is his second HIV test since coming to the United States and joining his family. Mommy is nervous, but Alec hardly thinks of it at all. This family blended of adopted children throughout the world is supportive, loving and a whole lot of fun. Whether Alec has HIV or not, he is truly loved, as is every single child.
The test results did come back. They came back positive for HIV even after a previous negative test. As disappointing as it is, Alec is currently healthy. Realizing there are a lot of hard things in this world, Alec’s mommy is taking things in stride and doing her best to get past the sadness.
