With 700 children available for adoption in Colorado, National Adoption Day 2014 will be a happy day when 46 children join their 33 adoptive families legally. Fox 31 in Denver reported that in Arapahoe County alone, nine children will be adopted. One family, the Bells, have two biological children and seven adopted. This National Adoption Day, they will add another, number 10. They joke that they now will have rounded out the numbers to complete their family soccer team.
Jefferson County, Colorado, boasts 29 adoption finalizations to take place on Saturday, November 22nd. With some families adopting more than one child, the 29 children will be placed in 22 homes.
Other counties will also have success. Adoption Day finalizations throughout the state will bring happiness and joy to many.
