Adoptive Mom Describes Her Connection to Daughter’s Birth Mom

Have You Seen This?

Denalee Chapman February 26, 2015

Meredith openly shares what it was like meeting the birth mother of her daughter for the very first time. There was an instant connection. For Meredith, it felt as though she and Renee would have been friends under any circumstance — adoption or not — which made the first meeting very comfortable.

Most birth mothers agree that there is a certain amount of comfort that takes place in the first meeting –- a connection and a feeling that this experience is truly meant to be. Although it is the adoptive mom doing the talking in this video, the feeling seems mutual. It is powerful. Their connection is their daughter, but the connection runs even deeper.
