At age 40, Julia Griffith decided it was time to start her family. Not married, she wasn’t willing to wait around anymore. She began adopting sibling pairs and is now raising her family in Washington. Her objective is to raise each child to reach his/her full potential, whatever that may be. “We’re just a normal family,” she says. But in watching this calm, sweet video, one might think that Julia and her children are extraordinary. As she helps her children focus on their education, Julia is not neglecting life skills. She gives the children opportunity to express their feelings and their experiences. And together, Julia and her family are pressing forward of an example of goodness and happiness.
