ABC News covered this interesting story of a loving family that was created with the help of Craigslist. Yes, it is a bit surprising to some, but true. Hopeful adoptive parents are connecting with birth mothers, and it is happening on Craigslist.
“Risk” and “reward” are just a couple of words that could be associated with “shopping to adopt.” Of course, the danger of being your own advocate is being scammed. It has happened and continues to happen. But Craigslist adoption has also worked! There have been some joyous connections made and families created.
