Advice for Families Starting the International Adoption Process

Whether you are in the midst of international adoption or are just barely considering adoption, this is great advice.

Denalee Chapman December 05, 2015

In this video our International Adoption Panel shares advice based on their specific adoption experiences. Whether you are in the midst of international adoption or are just barely considering adoption, their advice is good: Use a journal, enjoy the journey, remember why you’re doing this and why you chose international adoption, prepare, be patient, be flexible.  Have trust and faith in your adoption journey and record those feelings that you’re having along the way. Learn through the process and prepare for parenting your child by learning all you can about your child’s heritage and past. This is all good advice offered from our experienced panel.
