Our panel of two birth mothers and their parents discuss the things they’ve learned through the adoption process. Nothing about adoption is easy. But these birth family members have learned that they can do hard things, that they can grow through it, and that in the end, everything can be okay. An unplanned pregnancy, followed by placing a child for adoption, is life-changing. The opportunity to see blessings and receive peace through the process is truly a gift. At the beginning of the process, no one knows how it will play out, including all of the particulars. But knowing there will be joy amid the hardship helps bring peace.
