Birth mother and daughter share details about their quests to find each other.  Chris had given up hope, 47 years after giving birth. And then the phone call. Teresa, with the help of her sister, had tracked down her birth mother. Together they flew to another state to meet Chris. It is an emotional reunion as they hug and see each other for the first time.

It was nearly overwhelming as Chris perused the baby book Teresa brought to share. She never was able to let go of the pain of saying good-bye to her daughter. Through the years, Chris held on to guilt and pain.

For Teresa, reunification has not only shed light on some of her personality traits, but has also brought to her a sense of completeness. The two couldn’t be happier about being able to reunite.
