From “Adopted:  The Movie” an adoptive mother talks openly about the pain her adopted daughter felt at realizing she didn’t look like her parents. This good adoptive mother understood the pain. She let her daughter be sad and even angry for a time, encouraging her to share her feelings. And then the mother shared similar pain as she told her daughter how sorry and how sad she was that she couldn’t actually have given birth to her.

But amidst the pain is deep, tender love. And from the conversations between mother and daughter, and the time they have had together, they both were able to heal.
