America’s Got Talent highlighted adopted foster child, 18-year-old Jaycob Curlee. Jaycob talks about his early childhood with parents who were less than ideal. When Jaycob was five he and his sister were removed from their home and placed in foster care. Desperately wanting forever parents, Jaycob would continue to hope. Finally, his “real” parents found them and his life turned around.
Making it to the show’s round of 24 semifinalists, he was cut shortly after. But Jaycob’s life is sweet. He will still work toward a music career and continues to be grateful for his and his sister’s good fortune in having parents who love them.
