Jessa and Ben Seewald aren’t shy about sharing their plans for a growing family. While they both hope for a large family, Jessa says it’s unlikely she’ll be able to deliver 19 children naturally, “but we might adopt and get up to that number,” according to Jessa Duggar Seewald announces she hopes to adopt.Radar Online.
Jessa’s mom, Michelle, says that they have considered adding another child through adoption from China, which would bring their count to 20 children. But they’re waiting for confirmation from God before continuing that pursuit.
Three Duggar women, Michelle, Jill, and Jessa, are on the “Most Fascinating People in Arkansas of 2014” list. The three women spoke with 40/29 News recently. During the interview Jessa confirmed the desire she and Ben share to have a large family which will include adoption. “We want to have some of our own, but we also really want to adopt.”
The Stir reports that the Seewalds’ desire to adopt comes from their unselfish love for others, their longing to serve children in need, and the passion to better set examples of love, kindness, and giving.
