Keith Williams, a coal merchant from Carmarthenshire, Wales, was adopted at age two. Heading out on a journey to find his biological parents, Keith found his birth mother, Elizabeth Rosa. Through reunification, Keith found that his birth father was actually a Malaysian Sultan. His birth mother provided a plethora of photographs and memorabilia which helped Keith discover the truth about his birth father. The sultan died of a heart attack in January of 1984 after serving more than 20 years as sultan.
Keith’s attempts to contact other members of the paternal side of his birth family have proven difficult. He believes they are reluctant to move forward for fear that Keith will claim title to the royal offices and seek to take hold of the family fortunes.
