Bella is a beautiful 15-year-old girl who is patiently awaiting the permanent home she deserves. She is outgoing and fun, and she loves to spend time with her friends. Bella has worked diligently to earn her place on the A-B Honor Roll at her school, and she participates in horse therapy, exercise, and yoga in the afternoons. She enjoys listening to music and singing. Bella loves pampering activities such as dressing up and having her hair and nails done.

Bella is an incredible survivor. She has been through a difficult journey and made incredible progress. She needs a patient, loving adoptive parent who can understand everything she has been through and accept her for the person that she is. Bella longs to be adopted by someone who is willing to teach her about her Haitian culture and traditions she was born of. Can you provide a home for this kind, caring girl? If so, please make contact at Michelle.Giordano@bhcpns.org.

Bella is located in Pensacola, Florida and is available for adoption through FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview. Their primary goal is to establish safety and permanency and to support the well-being of abused and neglected children in Northwest Florida. FamiliesFirst Network is sponsored by Lakeview Center and the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families.

There is no cost to anyone who adopts a child or children from the foster care system through the Department of Children and Families and FamiliesFirst Network. Adoptive families receive training, supervision and post-adoption support services. Adopted children are eligible to receive a monthly maintenance subsidy, medical coverage through Medicaid and “free” college tuition. All adoption applicants must complete a two-hour orientation session, a 27-hour training program, and a home study. Background checks are also conducted on prospective adoptive parents.
