After a moving essay by Kristin Chenoweth, a reporter sat down with Nicole Kidman and discussed her experience of playing Sue Brierley in the movie, Lion. The conversation with Kidman moved to her own experience as an adoptive mother. Together, the reporter and Kidman talked about raising adopted children and the day when their children will want to know more.
Nicole Kidman shared she was advised to help with search and reunification when her children desired to connect with their birth families. Support is important when children are seeking to fill in the holes. This interview also included tender thoughts about Nicole’s meetings with the real Sue Brierley and their discussions about being adoptive mothers.
