An Emotional Greeting After Years of Waiting on the DRC

Grab your box of tissues . . . in fact, grab two boxes.

Denalee Chapman April 06, 2016

This is a video with no music and no words. But no words are needed and one can imagine the Heavenly Choirs breaking out in praise as this emotional homecoming occurs.

The Grover family waited a good long time for their two sons to come home from Congo. See the Grover family’s story of growing their family here. At the time of filming, they had adopted their two sons who were stuck in the Congo as exit permits had all been halted.

Often, there’s some trepidation on the part of adoptees as their new family reaches out to them. But in this case, it’s surprisingly emotional on all parts. Mom isn’t the only one to break out in tears. The boys are finally home.
