San Diego Pastor Jim Garlow is an adoptive father of four. Shortly after his wife passed away, their oldest daughter went on the search for her birth mother. The search revealed that her mother was raped and became pregnant as a teenager. This loving young woman chose to carry the child and place her for adoption rather than abort her.
Pastor Garlow is grateful for all four birth mothers who gave him and his wife the ability to be parents. He calls them “courageous.”
And now, the state of California is forcing him to pay for health insurance plans that cover elective abortions. According to San Diego’s Daily Signal, this “defies every fiber of his being.” Pastor Garlow said, “I feel that not only that the killing of babies in the womb is wrong foundationally, but as a father who had the privilege of adopting four children […] was repulsive beyond words.”
