Lucas from Pennsylvania
Meet Lucas! He's an adorable boy whose words are few, but whose personality speaks volumes! He's described by his foster parents as easy going and goofy. He's full of energy and loves to make others laugh by doing silly things. One of his favorite games is hide and seek and he would love to be able to play this game with his forever family. He also loves trucks. He enjoys playing with his toy trucks and watching big trucks pass his foster home. When he's not playing with trucks or playing hide and seek, Lucas likes to take walks and go for car rides. Lucas is a good eater, and some of his favorites are fresh fruit, peanut butter bread, spaghetti, and tacos. He'll try just about anything and there aren't many foods that he doesn't like. Lucas is just beginning to use his words to communicate, but he understands and follows directives well. He also communicates by pointing to what he needs. He has services in place to help him communicate better and is making progress. He also attends preschool where he's building social skills and making new friends. Lucas lives in a home with two cats and a turtle. He's learning to be gentle with the cats and enjoys petting them. He has a great relationship with his older foster brothers and would do great in a home with older siblings he could look up to. He loves to spend time with his foster family and would benefit from a family that can dedicate time and attention towards him. After meeting with him, it will be hard to not want to spend as much time with his as possible. Lucas is visiting with his birth family. Parental rights have not been terminated for Lucas, however when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
