Alex from Texas

Alex is a happy baby who is always smiling and laughing. He loves to play and roll over from his back to his stomach. Alex is learning to grab objects and he can now sit up independently. Alex is getting close to crawling and can get on all fours and rock back and forth. He loves to be swaddled. He is described as having a very silly personality; he often growls when he does not like something, but he is very lovable. Alex is blind in one eye and possibly the other. He receives nutrition and medications through a g-tube. Alex enjoys toys that make noise and have music. His favorite toy is a piano floor mat. He likes spending time outdoors and especially enjoys going on family walks around the neighborhood.

Alex's forever family will provide him with constant supervision and love. More importantly, Alex's family will commit to him for the rest of his life. The ideal family would be experienced in caring for children with primary medical needs and be knowledgeable about accessing resources in the community.
