Kate from Virginia

Kate, born in 2009, is full of personality. She enjoys spending time with her cat, Callie, and teaching her a ton of new tricks. She has always loved animals and has even enjoyed caring for and riding horses. Kate is quite the social butterfly. She can definitely carry the conversation with both adults and her peers. Even more, she has some of the funniest remarks and jokes. Most of the time, though, she can be found talking with friends. Kate loves being outside hiking or just going for walks. She also loves cheerleading and gymnastics. Though she is surely a girly girl that likes shopping and playing dress up, she also likes getting dirty from time to time. She does well in school, and her favorite subject is reading. She finds reading as a great pastime. She enjoys writing her own stories with very interesting story lines. Kate enjoys playing sports, softball and volleyball are her favorites. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
