Ramaine from Virginia

Meet Ramaine! He is a wonderful young man who is athletic and likes to play sports and ride his bike. He also enjoys Legos and video games. Ramaine is a sharp dresser, and he takes pride in looking nice. He enjoys having cool tennis shoes. Before going to his present placement, Ramaine enjoyed going to church with a relative and even sang one Sunday in front of the congregation. Ramaine says that he would like a family with two parents. He would prefer not to have pets in the home. It can take Ramaine a little while to warm up to a person that he has never met before; but when he does, he is caring and has a good sense of humor. He does best when he is in a small classroom and has access to one-on-one help from his teacher. His average grades this past semester have all been between 90% to 100%. Ramaine needs a forever family that can give him much individualized attention and make him feel like he belongs in his family. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
