A birthmother never has an easy choice.
Carrying a baby for 9 months, knowing that baby will never be yours, is painful and emotional. You must be careful that you are thinking truly about the baby and not just yourself.
There are a lot of moving parts once you decide on adoption as a birthmother. You have to find a family, you have to continue carrying the baby and caring for your body, then you have to go through the excruciatingly painful experience of childbirth. After birth you place your baby in someone else’s arms forever.
The way the adoptive mom gets emotional about the birthmother and the adoptee at 2:10 will break your heart into a million pieces. There is so much love in adoption– so many careful, thought out, acts of love.
