Going on adventurous travels has always been a favorite of ours! We love visiting new places and frequenting our favorites. We plan to continue traveling with our child to show them the world and expose them to many different places and cultures.
We have a very large family who primarily live in southern India. Kishore has many Aunts and Uncles as well as cousins, nieces and nephews there. We keep in touch with them regularly through phone and skype calls. We are very close in spirit although we live thousands of miles apart. We are excited that our child will one day get to know the India family and get to visit the beautiful country. They are excitedly waiting and praying for the big day!
We have a very tight knit family whom we love dearly! Our family is our support system and we are so thankful to know that they're here for us in any time of need. Laurie's family all live in the United States. Her parents and younger brother Ben live in Florida. Her older brother Scott, along with his wife and 5 kids live in North Carolina. Kishore's brother Kiran lives in Georgia along with his wife and 2 kids. Up until about 3 years ago, they lived in India. It has been a huge blessing to have them here! His mom spends 6 months in the US each year! We greatly enjoy her presence and her delicious Indian cooking!
Our home is a single family 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a partially converted garage room we use as an office and guest room. Our decor is bright and colorful. We enjoy hosting friends and family regularly! Our backyard is the perfect spot to drink chai tea and unwind from the day. Our second bedroom is set up as a nursery, ready and waiting for its future little occupant! Our neighborhood is made up of a long series of cul-de-sacs and is within walking distance of 2 beautiful parks, several shopping centers, our church and Laurie's parents (who are excited to have a grandchild nearby!). Our neighbors are families with young children and retirees. Our home is located in south Florida, situated between the Everglades and beaches. Our suburban city is known for its parks and waterways. We enjoy sunny days year-round and often take advantage of the nice weather. Our city is racially and culturally diverse. While predominantly Latino, many countries and cultures are represented.
