Introduction
We are a Pacific Northwest family.

Travis and Kara
Thank you for checking out our adoption profile. We hope you will consider us as a potential couple in your search for someone with whom to place your child for adoption. We acknowledge that this journey you are on can be very difficult to navigate. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you contemplate which path to choose for you and your child.
We are a Pacific Northwest family living in Washington State. We love the beauty and variety the entire region offers: rolling hills, mountains, deserts, woods, fields, rain, sun, snow, lakes, rivers, and coastline! We have family ties on both the eastern and western sides of Washington, as well as loved ones scattered all up and down the west coast.
Our family is pretty small at the moment, it's just us and our two cats. After thirteen years of marriage, we are ready to expand our family into something a little bigger.

A Little Bit About Us
Each child deserves to know how precious they are.

Our Kittens
Travis is patient, kind, and full of laughter. He tends to be the first to volunteer to help others in need and has a deep sense of community. He also has a decent dose of artistic skill, which manifests itself primarily in acrylic painting and sculpting. However, when given the opportunity, he can build almost anything, whether it be a bed, a tool shed, or the stand he made to hold his OneWheel.
Kara is caring, organized, and observant. She strives to help others recognize their full potential, whether it be family, friends, or colleagues. She can play several instruments (the strongest being violin, electric bass, and piano) and enjoys writing when she's not spending time in the laboratory.
We both enjoy low-key outdoor activities (hikes, leisurely kayaking, nature walks, gardening), cooking, and cooing over our spoiled kittens. As a couple, we have a soft spot for Halloween, since it was at a Halloween dance in college that we first met each other.
Most importantly, we are committed to our family, whether it be the families we were born into or the family we have chosen. With that, we believe each child deserves to know how precious they are. If we are blessed to welcome a child into our family and raise them in our home, they will be loved unconditionally and taught that they are a child of God.
While we would prefer to have an open or semi-open adoption, we would also understand and honor a closed adoption, if that is your preference.
