Chris & Eyal

Hi! We are Chris and Eyal. We are a committed, loving, together-forever couple who have been dreaming for a long time of becoming fathers and a loving family. With much gratitude, we've adopted our two children, Bella and Sam, and are thrilled at the opportunity to add another wonderful child to our loving home. We are financially stable and are both college educated. Chris has a full time job with extremely flexible hours, allowing him to spend a lot of time with Eyal and Sam. Eyal is a stay-at-home dad and spends his time taking Sam and Bella to extra-curricular activities (including swim, music, golf, chess, gymnastics and dance) and social activities throughout the week.

We know that placing your child for adoption is an act of love and that you want only the best for him or her. Should your child become a part of our family, he or she will always know how special you are.

A little bit of how we met…. We began chatting on this site called “Tinder” and decided it was best that we meet in person as we had a very strong connection already starting. We met at a Starbucks and became instantly inseparable. Right away, we knew that we didn't need to look any further now that we have found "the one". We complement each other in every way and most importantly make each other happy and smile. What is most telling about our relationship, and the moment we knew it was all meant to be, is that we both planned to propose to one another on the exact same evening. The timing could not have been better.

Chris’ thoughts of Eyal…..

Eyal is extremely outgoing and super friendly. All of his friends trust . He is good listener and very dependable. He is known best for entering any room with a warm smile and open heart.

Eyal’s thoughts of Chris….

Chris is extremely motivated and driven. He is trustworthy and loyal. He is a giver and enjoys helping and giving to others before himself. He moved to New York 15 years ago and has made himself an unbelievably close group of friends that consider him family.

We are both avid cyclists and have done a charity bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angles, California multiple times. We are total foodies and love going out for dinners, both with the family and with friends. We love to travel, domestically and internationally. We take an annual ski trip in March and spend New Years in the Bahamas. Should you choose us, we would teach your child to ski, swim, and excel at any hobby or interest he/she may have. Most importantly though, we will teach them to love and respect everyone. An individual’s character is what sets them aside from everyone else, and we want our children to learn and acknowledge that and become the best contribution to society he or she can be.
We have the sweetest miniature Dachshund named Loretta. She is almost 9 years old and Chris got her when she was just a little puppy. She is super friendly and loving. She loves to cuddle and lay right up against or on top of people's laps. She is also exceptionally gentle and kind to our kids.

Like we mentioned earlier, we are big foodies and love going out to restaurants but we certainly love to have family dinners at home as well. I (Eyal) love to cook, whether it's fish, pasta, vegetables, or meat. For a few months we had a subscription/account with Blue Apron, which is a service that will send you a new recipe and all the necessary ingredients for that dish (and 2 sides) every week. This would help give us ideas of what to cook but as well cut out the shopping time to buy the items. We would usually make a night activity out of it and cook together as a family. The kids have been enjoying cooking and helping in the kitchen.

One of our favorite hobbies is traveling. We love visiting new places we have never been before and experiencing different cultures and traditions. We have taken the kids skiing in Deer Valley, UT, the Bahamas, Disney World, London and Portugal. As a couple we have been to many cities and countries across the world.

In the summer we spend our time at our beach house either playing on the beach or the pool….playing tennis…day trips on the boat, and the kid’s summer camp. We are both obsessed with real estate and love to renovate houses. Eyal plays on a basketball league and has received many honors for outstanding sportsmanship and positive example for the league.

Christmas has always been with Chris' mom and at our house in Bellport. We have a Christmas tree both at our Bellport house as well as our place in NYC. We have tons of ornaments and lights and start decorating the tree just after Thanksgiving to get into the holiday spirit. The kids love to put their ornaments on each year and add a few new ones as well. We love sitting by the fireplace reading books and looking at the tree. Traditional food at Christmas would be Linda's famous ham.

Family is very important to us both. Chris and I both come from rather religious backgrounds however neither of us are overly religious. That being said, we both share a strong belief in morals and values in which we raise a family. We believe in respecting and treating others like you would want to be treated yourself, as well as love for everyone and anyone despite their race, religion or sexual orientation. We also teach the value of charity and giving back to those in need.

Chris is a junior board member of an organization called God’s Love We Deliver, which is an organization that provides daily meals to anyone that is sick and/or homebound and cannot provide for themselves. He helped get me involved in this organization as well and we now deliver meals periodically throughout the year and on Thanksgiving with the kids. We love showing Sam and Bella what it means to give back and how important that is for everyone.

We are incredibly strong and content with who we are and our relationship.
