Bold and miraculous circumstances surround the miracle of Diane’s adoption. Her parents — unable to have biological children — adopted a son. And then, two-and-a-half years later they began their search for another child. They were hopeful about a daughter. Time passed, and no child came to their home. Eventually her father exercised great boldness by contacting a well-known LDS church authority. This led to the miraculous adoption of Diane.
Raised with high morals in a loving family, Diane Hallstrom is indeed grateful.
