Michael Reed, 60, has been looking for his father since he was 12. Growing up as an only child, and knowing he was adopted, he knew the time would come when he would actively search. But it wasn’t until Michael took a DNA test and got linked to Dennis Fay’s cousins, that he began to make headway.
Fay didn’t even know he had another child. At first skeptical, it didn’t take long for Dennis to realize Michael really is his child. They met in person at the Salt Lake City airport. Welcomed by lots of family members holding a big banner, the first meeting of father in son was touching.
