Summer was adopted at age 6 from Korea. Her older sister was also adopted. Summer began her search for her roots when she turned 18. This took her from Wisconsin to Korea. She did the preliminary work, gathering what information that was available, then began her search. Discovering her past, Summer gained a more complete picture of who she is. She grew up in a loving family and adapted to her new American culture fairly quickly. It wasn’t for want of love that Summer went on her search, but her search answered questions and curiosities. She is grateful for her life, both past and present.
