Texas couple, Kasi and Shane Pruitt, had wanted to adopt a fifth child. They had no idea that the opportunity would move so suddenly. They got news baby Celsey needed a home, and they were able to bring her home the very next day. The pair had not had a chance to discuss the adoption with the rest of the family. They had no idea.
Kasi and Shane have two biological daughters and two adopted sons. They caught their little girls’ reactions on video as they arrived home with their new baby girl. Raygen, 11, and Harper, 6, shrieked with joy and shed happy tears as they met their new sister.
Shane said that sometimes as parents we doubt the decisions we make, but in that moment they knew they had done something right. God had answered their prayers. The couple used the video as their birth announcement on social media, and it has since gone viral.
