Tamera Mowry-Housley, co-star of “The Real,” recently told Essence that the idea of adoption had been placed on her heart by God when she was as young as 11. Now that she and her husband, Adam Housley, have been considering when would be the right time for their third child, adoption has been weighing heavily on them.

Mowry-Housely, 39, is currently a mother of two. Her son, Aden, is 4, and her daughter, Ariah, is 2. She really values her family and puts an emphasis on balance. She recently revealed a desire to adopt a third child. On a segment called “Girl Chat,” she talked about wanting another child, but not feeling she would be the one to deliver.

These days Tamera is spending lots of time with family working on the “Sister, Sister” reboot. She also blogs about realities and challenges associated with work and family on her website TameraMowry.com.

Tamera got her start on television show “Sister, Sister “alongside her identical twin sister, Tia Mowry. The show aired from 1994 to 1999. The premise of the show was that the girls had been separated and adopted at birth. The girls come together later in life, and that’s where the show picked up. The reboot of the show will depict the women in their lives as adults. They say it hasn’t been as easy as some might have thought, but it will be worth it. They have faced many challenging projects over the years, and they have always come out on top. There is still no release date, but it is sure to be full of 90’s nostalgia.
