Starring on TLC, the group behind 7 Little Johnstons is a family of seven who all live with achondroplasia dwarfism. Amber and Trent have two biological children, Jonah and Elizabeth, and three adopted children, Anna, Alex, and Emma. The Georgia family recently learned of a two-year old boy with achondroplasia in China who is available for adoption.
Amber feels a sense of connection to the boy, like he belongs with them. While Trent is definitely open to the idea, he is carefully considering all the factors involved. The couple isn’t getting any younger, and they want to make sure if something happens to them, the children will be taken care of. He said each time his wife has felt so strongly about a child, they have adopted and added a key piece of their family. He wouldn’t change a thing. For right now, the couple is giving the adoption a healthy dose of consideration.
