Dad was yelling and Mom was crying. The police had come to the home of these sisters. Parents were removed, and children were placed in foster care. The girls haven’t seen their parents since. But coming to the Royal Family Kids Camp, the girls began a new life.
They found adults who wouldn’t hurt them and went beyond what they knew. These adults actually loved them. It was at camp that the three sisters found new parents. Even with the sacrifices required to provide for their daughters, the parents would tell you that the girls are as much a blessing to them, as they are to the girls.
Two years later the girls returned to camp – this time to help other kids coming from abused and neglected situations. Coming full circle, the girls feel gratitude in a new way.
