Lauren Hernandez recently graduated from high school shortly after turning 18 years old. At her graduation party, she gave an unexpected gift to the man who raised her as his daughter.
Joe Iosco came into Lauren’s life when she was just 1 year old. A long-time boyfriend of her mother, Joe thought of Lauren as his own. He treated her with the tender, loving care that should the gift of all fathers to their children.
And so, on Lauren’s special day, she gave her “dad” a present. Inside is a poem she wrote just for him. His emotions start to take over and it’s tender for all.
