Josh and Kristen got “the call” while their baby was still in the hospital. There, they got to meet her birth mother and extended birth family. And then it was homecoming day. As this miracle is taken into Grandma’s arms, love fills the room and the house is thick with gratitude.
True to baby-form, she lets her needs known with some newborn screams until she’s taken care of. The first few days are filled with introductions. Although it’s hard for this new mommy to share, both sets of grandparents get time with her and everyone acknowledges the miracle of adoption!
