Our panel of birth mothers discuss the reasons they chose to place their children for adoption rather than choosing to parent or to abort their babies. For each of these birth mothers, the journey was personal. Regardless of the expectation of others, the strong desire to be with their children every day, or their hopes and dreams, these birth mothers made the choice to place on their own. They chose what they felt was best for their children, even with the personal pain associated with that choice. Ultimately, their choices to place boiled down to great love for their children. They chose what they absolutely knew was right for those children. These birth mothers know, through their experiences, that adoption, while painful, is unbelievably beautiful.
