Striving to get the Adoptee Access Bill passed in the state of Minnesota, Kim Eckstein-Lee has been searching for her own birth family for the past 10 years. Of course, she loves her adoptive family. But with their support, she is desperately seeking information about her birth family. She has minimal information and hopes that she can soon gather more that will lead her to her birth mother and other family members.

With sealed birth records, she is now stuck. She has published information on social media hoping that will lead to her birth family information, but she has had little success even though her posts have been shared over a million times. Kim is not the only one hoping the Adoptee Access Bill passes–adoptees all over the state are working toward the same result.
