A West Virginia “Good Samaritan” not only rescued a crying toddler who was alone on a sidewalk in front of her home, but also caught on video a one-way conversation with the mother of the child who was high on drugs. The video has gone viral, beginning with the first posting on Facebook, police have become involved, and the child is not in protective custody of the state, currently with the boyfriend’s mother. The child’s mother faces criminal charges for neglect of her 16-month-old baby.
State Police who were called to the scene state that the baby’s mother told a trooper that she had been consuming meth for the previous 48 hours.
