DNA tests are enabling many who have been separated from their biological families to reunite. Such is the case with Linda Marshall, born in 1962 and abandoned when she was 2 weeks old. Linda was placed in foster care and later adopted, but was not given the opportunity to search for her birth family until she turned 18.

Through 36 years, Linda searched. Finally, DNA Detectives took on Linda’s request and 17 days later, Linda’s sister, Sandra, was found.

Sandra grew up an only child and was shocked to receive contact from Linda, claiming to be her sister. Once photos were exchanged, though, the truth was obvious. Watch this video that unfolds the tender story of two sisters reuniting.
