While all reunions are amazing and meaningful, there’s just something very special about a man meeting his father. A man meeting his father after desiring to know him his entire life. And then when he gets to meet his sisters, it is unbelievably tender and sweet.
Reunions are sometimes awkward, but only because years of strong feelings have sat dormant. Sometimes there is a gushing of soul-touching tears, and often those tears are reserved for a later time when all the processing can take place in private. At this reunion, we see heartfelt smiles and quick hugs, but the feeling of joy at this reunification is strong.
