Many birth mothers are blindsided when friends and strangers ask them, “How could you do that?” Our panel of birth mothers share their experiences of the gift of inner strength that appeared at the time it was needed. Knowing they wanted to do what was best for their children, they felt Divine guidance in making their decisions as well as Divine strength that magnified them beyond their own powers to get through the trauma and the pain. These mothers don’t really know how they made it through their hardships, they just know they did find the strength they needed.
