Video: Foster Parents Communicate with Birth Parents to Help Children

Have you seen this?

Denalee Chapman June 06, 2015

DA Blodgett St Johns created this video. They hope to bring awareness that children come into foster care for various reasons. They show how foster parents helping the children can sometimes include communication with birth parents.

This beautiful foster family who has fostered over 60 children gives practical advice on foster parenting. Because some families will be reunified, developing positive relationships between the foster parents and the birth parents is vital. When everyone involved truly wants the best for the children, everything becomes easier and certainly more rewarding! Children are placed in foster care every day. Creating brighter tomorrows for children and for families is the aim of DA Blodgett St Johns, and it can be fulfilled as responsible adults step forward to play a part.
