Jayden from Virginia

Jayden, born in 2011, is a resilient youth. He enjoys almost anything active to include - basketball, riding his bike, and swimming. Over the summer, he went kayaking on the river and loved it. Jayden loves to ride his hoverboard and RipStik. He likes to spend his down time watching anime and collecting action figures. Jayden is very smart and earns good grades. His newest interest is learning to play an instrument in band. This has become one of his favorite things. Jayden connects with school professionals and supports. He is an excellent communicator and a great self-advocate. He has a good sense of humor. Jayden has overcome numerous difficult circumstances and has been able to relay how that impacts him to his caregivers and supports. Jayden greets others easily and is friendly. Jayden desires a family who can seek to understand his experiences and will connect with him. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
