Joshua from Virginia

Joshua, who goes by Josh, was born in 2007. He enjoys being outdoors and engaging in various activities, such as, hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. He enjoys sharing stories of previous outdoor adventures, in which he would catch rainbow trout in front of his home. Josh expressed interests in playing basketball and football. Josh continues to excel in academic studies; he enjoys "PE" the most due to his ability to play basketball with his friends. Josh can verbalize his needs and desires when it comes to daily living and functioning. He can build a relationship with those around him and actively engage in goals set forth. Josh is optimistic about his future and has a positive mindset of graduating high school. Josh enjoys joking and holding conversations with those around him. Josh’s biggest wish is for a forever family who will support and love him. Could you be that family for him? In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
