Vilma from Virginia

Vilma is a smart, kind, and creative teenager. She likes to spend time with family and friends, playing video games, board games, cooking, and watching her favorite shows. Vilma performs well in school and has made the A/B honor roll multiple quarters in a row. Vilma enjoys computer courses, anything related to outer space, and engineering related projects. In the past year she built a lamp, a robot, and a bedside clock/calendar with an engineering kit and took coding courses through CodeWizards. Vilma likes to cook, bake, and try out new recipes. She enjoys reading and is a big fan of the Harry Potter series. She has decorated her room in a Harry Potter theme. Vilma is very artistic. She likes to sketch and paint. She can draw just about anything with realistic interpretation and likes to draw pictures of family, friends, pets, and characters from Harry Potter. Vilma loves animals, especially dogs and bunnies. She has recently demonstrated her athleticism by playing volleyball and is skilled at the game. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
