Many people outside of the adoption community cannot understand why an adoption placement would occur if a birth father is in the equation. This panel of birth mothers challenge that idea. Some of these birth mothers experienced their adoption situation with birth fathers as being part of the picture. They share their personal experiences with the birth fathers in their individual circumstances. It is a complicated tangle of relationships and each situation is different. Opening communication so the adoptee is the one who benefits is always the best answer.
