Morganne was born in February 2005 and is a healthy, typically developing preteen. She lived with her birth family until 2009 and has since then been in orphanages and foster families.
Morganne is a calm, interactive, emotionally open girl who likes to be the center of attention and respects authority. She may sometimes speak too quickly and not realize the consequences of her words or actions. She adapts easily to changing conditions and environments and is still establishing her knowledge of morals and ethics. Morganne joins group activities where she prefers to be a leader, occasionally causing conflicts, and likes computer games and going out with friends.
Morganne attends a mainstream school. She reads fluently, spells well, and understands and applies grammar rules. She can solve complex mathematical tasks, including geometry, requiring several steps. Morganne's thinking shows resourcefulness, agility and depth, independence, logic, and consciousness. She has a rich imagination, including the ability to create new things, and is able to form arguments and conclusions. She is well coordinated and well oriented in time and space.
Morganne is suspected of having experienced multiple forms of abuse both in her biological family and her foster homes. She freely expresses her desire to be adopted into a permanent, loving family and expects that her new parents will be foreigners.

Update July 2017: Our in-country team visited Morganne and found her to be a smart, sweet, communicative child who astonished them with her knowledge and potential.
Morganne is an excellent student who has completed fifth grade. She likes to read, watch movies, go out with friends, play computer games, travel, sports, cooking and dancing. She loves animals, hopes to have a dog some day, and would like to learn how to ride a horse. The orphanage director describes her as obedient, respectful and loving with many skills and wonderful potential. When she grows up, Morganne wants to be a hairdresser or a journalist.
Morganne's biggest dream is to have a family that she plans to love with all her heart and whose care and support she will appreciate. Our in-country team believes that this amazing child would soar in a forever family.
