- Case #79631
Grab a couple of snickers bars and soda pops and head out to watch a local football game and you'll see this youth's eyes light up and a big smile come across his face! Meet Gary (who also goes by Aiden). Gary is a sweet youth who is looking for a family that will take him in and love him for who he is. Gary loves to play outside, especially sports related activities, with football being his favorite. He would tell you today that his favorite team is the Texas Longhorns. His favorite position is linebacker. When asked what he would wish for if he had three wishes, Gary said he would like to play on a football team, have his own pair of boots, and his own cowboy hat as well. Swimming is another one of Gary's favorite activities and he says he really likes horses. Gary enjoys attending school and being around his friends. He is really working hard toward gaining positive ground in his interactions with others. He says his favorite subject right now is science because of all the projects he gets to do. His least favorite is math. Gary would like his new family to have a mom, dad, and siblings; but he's not too picky as long as they love and care for him for who he is and will give him the commitment of a lifetime. Don't be surprised if his Christmas or birthday list includes a case of snickers bars and Dr. Pepper! Visit me at the Heart Gallery of North East Texas. View my video on KLTV7 "Gift of Love".
A family with older siblings might work well for Gary. His family will need to be very patient with Gary and allow him time to adjust to being in a family atmosphere. He needs to see his family role model good coping skills on a consistent basis and will rely upon the structure they can provide. His family will offer him many new opportunities to experience new things and give his new life a shot with full support and much encouragement to never give up.
